Join Oonagh for a gluten free cooking/baking class. Since the kitchen at Souhegan is not a gluten free facility, Chef Oonagh will bring her own equipment and all the ingredients. At home, she only buys regular bread and cereal for her husband, everything else is gluten free.
In the first class the participants will decide on the recipes for the rest of the series. Suggestions include Belgian waffles, lemon meringue pie, rocky road cake, cheese breads, winter warming soups, cheesecakes – both gelatin set and baked - Kahlúa chocolate, peanut butter chocolate, vanilla with berry sauce. Participants decide what will be made. You will get to eat everything Oonagh makes. Please note class will start Wednesday 26 January 2011 (7-9 PM). Lab fees will depend on dishes chosen.
This fun class is limited due to space constraints. The low cost is only $70.00 per person for Amherst residents, ($80.00 for non Amherst residents).
